Highlights
old san juan and vieques. Would have spent more days in old san juan and they have an amazing bar scene better than san juan in my opinion. Theres a amazing queer bar I dont remember the name but its by the wall with the painted flag and very affordable.
Day 1
Afternoon: Visit the Mall of San Juan

Day 2
Morning: Take a day trip to El Yunque National Forest, located about an hour's drive from San Juan. Hike through the lush rainforest and discover beautiful waterfalls.

$160 pickup and goes to Luquillo Beach @9am (30 min away from san juan)
$4 if wo guide book reservation
Afternoon: Visit Luquillo Beach, known for its palm-lined shores and crystal-clear waters. Relax on the beach and try some local street food from the kiosks nearby.
Afternoon: Head to Isla Verde Beach, located near San Juan. Enjoy the sun, sand, and beautiful turquoise waters.
Evening: Return to San Juan and enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant in the city.
Day 3
Morning: Explore the historic district of Old San Juan. Visit the famous El Morro fortress, walk along the colorful streets, and admire the colonial architecture.
Afternoon: Visit Castillo San Cristobal, another historic fort in Old San Juan, and explore the nearby streets filled with shops, art galleries, and cafes.
Evening: Enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants in Old San Juan and experience the lively atmosphere.
Day 4
Morning: Take a ferry to the island of Vieques. Once you arrive, head to Sun Bay Beach, known for its stunning white sand and calm waters.
Afternoon: Explore the Vieques National Wildlife Refuge. Make a reservation for a guided tour in the evening to witness the magical glow of the bioluminescent organisms. The cost for the tour is around $30 per person.
Evening: Enjoy a delicious seafood dinner at a local restaurant in Vieques. Bioluminescent Bay $130 @7 pm
Day 5
Morning: Rent bicycles and explore the island. Ride to Playa Caracas, also known as Red Beach, which is known for its beautiful scenery and snorkeling opportunities.
Airbnb tip: On your second day, take a taxi to the south side of Vieques and experience the amazingly beautiful Caribbean beaches, the sugar cane pier, and the restaurants in and bars overlooking the Caribbean.
Afternoon: Spend the afternoon snorkeling in the clear waters around Vieques or relax on the beach.
Evening: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and immerse yourself in the laid-back island vibes.
Day 6
Morning: relax on the beach or explore the island further.
Or take a boat tour to explore the nearby islands and cays surrounding Vieques. Visit secluded beaches and snorkel in pristine waters.
Afternoon: Crab Island Rum Distillery
Evening: Enjoy a final dinner in Vieques and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.
Day 7
Morning: Spend the day relaxing at Flamenco Beach in Culebra, known for its pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters. Snorkel, swim, or simply soak up the sun.
Afternoon: Explore the underwater world with a snorkeling or diving excursion to the coral reefs surrounding Culebra. Or walk around and explore
Evening: Enjoy a beachfront dinner and watch the sunset over the water.
Day 8
Morning: Spend the day exploring Tamarindo Beach, known for its beautiful snorkeling spots and marine life.
Afternoon: Take a leisurely walk around the island and discover its natural beauty.
Evening: Take the ferry back to San Juan.
Day 9

Anything you would add or do differently?

would have chose to go to either vieques or culebra. Culebra is much smaller with limited food options and less beaches so probably would have only went to vieques. Book ferry tickets IN ADVANCE like weeks in advance. Also make reservations for restaurants in old san juan as the good places did not take any walk ins.
