It’s been 3 years since we did this Father/Son ski trip and we haven’t ventured to Steamboat. I’m glad we did - we got pounded with snow! The group was 6 Dads and 6 seventeen year old boys.

We wanted to experience both! Economically, the local island stay is much cheaper, offering charming boutique hotels, cozy cafés, and authentic restaurants—but no alcohol. While modest dress codes apply, designated bikini beaches let visitors swim and sunbathe freely.
But of course, you can’t leave the Maldives without trying the iconic overwater villa experience! We made it extra special by choosing one with a slide for our daughter, and it was absolutely worth it. Staying at a private island resort meant no restrictions—we could wear whatever we liked and enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset over the endless ocean.
No matter the choice, the Maldives was one of an unforgettable escapes we ever did. 🌴✨
Summer family trip to Italy
My husband is of Scottish heritage and we love the landscape of the countryside and seaside villages.
We have seen so many beautiful photos of Sri Lanka and wanted to do see what the island could offer. We couldn't be happier as we explored their jungles, safari, beach and saw its rich history. We did the famous triangle route starting in their big city, went across the other side of the island, did safari, relaxed in one of their famous beaches, explored the rich culture of Portuguese colonialism, and ate different Sri Lankan food. It was one of the best trips we have encountered.
After a whirlwind year full of planning, bridal showers, bachelor & bachelorette trips, and finally, our wedding day, my husband and I wanted to find the perfect destination to begin our life together as newlyweds. We wanted to travel somewhere beautiful, steeped in history, dotted with beaches, exciting culture, and equal opportunities for relaxation and adventure. The island of Mallorca checked all the boxes. We had been to Exuma before for a shorter 4 night trip, and we knew we HAD to get back and stay longer. We love to visit Exuma for the beautiful blue waters and all the interactions with the wildlife, including sharks, iguanas, pigs, cats, stingrays and more!
We chose to travel to the Dominican Republic because it offered the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure in a destination neither my husband nor I had visited before. We wanted to enjoy some skiing as a family so we decided to take a quick ski vacation between Christmas Day and New Years to wonderful Snowmass, Colorado.
Vail is our favorite mountain if the lines aren't too long! We went during an "off" weekend in February, and enjoyed great snow and family time.
We wanted to ski the legendary snow of Utah and share this experience with great family friends!
