We flew into Boston and checked out Boston University and Northeastern U. Quick hello to my little bro at NE, and drove straight toward Middlebury. We stopped by Vermont Flannel on our way, bought a few flannels and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Checked in to the Middlebury Inn. A beautiful, historic inn, near the center of town and walkind distance to the school.
Day 2
We woke up and toured the campus. We enjoyed a nice breakfast at the inn, Morgan's Tavern. Loved the location of Middlebury Inn, right next to town. Walked over the Middlebury River to Middlebury College. Beautiful, historic little town, and the campus is gorgeous. Lunch after at the Stone Mill Public Market-little market with curated food & snacks, coffee. Lunch downstairs at Mad Taco! Ate at Two Brothers Tavern for dinner, what a fun atmosphere and great food-
Day 3
Breakfast lattes and pastries at Stone Mill, headed to Montpelier, a quick drive through this beautiful town, on our way to see UVM in Burlington. Spent the day touring the campus, had bagel sandwiches next to Lake Champlain. Bought a new jacket at Fjallraven. Evening flight back to Chicago!
