Day 1

On our first full day in Nashville, we went to Broadway street during the day so as to avoid the heinous nighttime crowds of super long lines to get into bars, covers, and countless bachelorette parties and birthdays. My friend who lives there recommended this, and she was 100 percent right. So, we went on a daytime bar crawl down broadway to all the different live music venues. We went to Miranda Lambert’s, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia line, and a rooftop bar. It’s such a fun and different vibe from a normal bar hop, because all of the music is live and mostly country rock. Most of the bars have multiple floors of music going, so you’d find something for everyone. It really is a super fun experience. We spent most of our day there, and for dinner, went to Edley’s BBQ in East Nashville (very famous in Nashville, for good reason). Just go, you wont regret it. After this, we called it a night as we had already had a long day of bars, music, and drinking.

Day 2

On our second day, we were able to go jet skiing at one of the man-made lakes outside of Nashville. For breakfast, we HAD to go to Waffle House, and so do you. Its nothing special, but its everything traditional about the south. Try it!

Our friend’s boyfriend owned the jet ski, and this was a more private lake, but there are about 5 or 6 about an hour outside Nashville that provide spaces to hike, swim, run, boat, and be outdoors. There are multiple lakes where you can rent jet skis to do it yourself, too! We spent our first half of the day getting out on the water and had so much fun. This is something most people don’t think to do when they visit Nashville, but it really breaks up the downtown scene!

In the evening, we went to Trivia night at a Meadery in east Nashville. They only made and sold mead here, which was s super unique experience. We sipped and played trivia against other teams, and the atmosphere was very young and lively in East Nashville. After trivia ended around 9, there is a super fun arcade bar called Up/Down across the street. They usually run specials, so we went there and ended up having way more fun than we bargained for. We spent a couple hours playing arcade bar games and having a blast.

Day 3

For the first part of the day, we headed to the Jack Daniel’s distillery for a tour and tastings. Nashville is big on their distilleries and breweries, so if Jack isn’t your jam, there are so many other brewery or whiskey tours to take. You can either go yourself, or take a legit tour. We had a lot of fun, but if you’re a bit over the drinking, other options for the fiesta part of the day are the Museum of Music Hall of Fame, the Johnny Cash museum, Grand Ole Opry, or even taking a little trip to Memphis.

After the distillery for us, we grabbed some lunch at a diner, and headed back home to get ready for a night of line dancing. We went to WildHorse Saloon for line dancing, but there are other bars around Nashville that do it. They all usually do it on different nights, so check on google to see which night each place is doing line dancing, and see if you can catch a lesson! They will list lesson times if they do them. We had SO much fun and line danced the entire night. Watch out, its much more of a workout than you think! Even if you’ve never done it, I think its a must do when coming to Nashville!
