Day 1
Touching down in Bangkok on our first day, we dove straight into the energy of this vibrant city. Known for its world-class shopping, we explored its massive malls, hopping from store to store and even taking a ride on the city’s sleek train system. With the warm, beautiful weather, stepping into air-conditioned malls for a coffee and some snacks was the perfect way to recharge. As the sun set, we wrapped up our adventure in style—two hours of free-flowing wine and beer at a stunning rooftop bar, soaking in breathtaking views of the dazzling Sukhumvit skyline. What a way to kick off our trip!
Day 2
On our second day, we travelled to another part of Thailand known more to families. It is not a party city but more for kids and relaxation for parents, we went to Huahin. the travel going to the other city takes more than three hours and we had our own big van with party lights inside, we travelled in style. Arriving there, we immediately dove into the resorts different pools and enjoyed the beach too. Hyatt Huahin is our go-to resort as it is calm, beautiful and refreshing coming from a very bustling country.
Day 3
On the third day, we biked at a nearby mountain temple. A guide came with us and we drove our bikes on the shore, good thing it was low tide or else it would have been not possible. there were some monkeys living there too so it is essential to be careful of the belongings. Arriving back, we again enjoyed lounging by the pool, having drinks and yummy thai food while our daughter enjoys swimming and sliding in their giant slide.
Day 4
For our next adventure, we visited a nearby elephant sanctuary, choosing one that allowed our daughter to ride an elephant naturally—without a chair, as we wanted to ensure the animals were treated with care. After some searching, we found a sanctuary that met our criteria. While it was a bittersweet experience—seeing these majestic creatures up close yet knowing many had difficult pasts—the staff assured us they were dedicated to their rescue and well-being. Our daughter had an unforgettable time feeding and bathing the elephants, a heartwarming way to end the visit.
In the evening, we couldn’t pass up the chance to explore one of Thailand’s famous night markets. The atmosphere was electric—vibrant lights, bustling stalls, and an endless array of local delicacies. We soaked it all in, enjoying the lively energy, sampling delicious street food, and picking up unique souvenirs to remember our trip by. It was the perfect way to wrap up another incredible day!
Day 5
Leaving a place you’ve truly enjoyed is never easy, but we made the most of our final day in Thailand. Heading back to Bangkok, we decided to take it slow, doing some sightseeing on our own. With the heat in full force, we opted out of visiting too many temples and instead spent hours wandering through one of the city’s biggest flea markets—an endless maze of unique finds, local crafts, and hidden treasures.
As the sun set on our incredible trip, we ended the night in the best way possible—at another stunning rooftop bar. Sipping on cocktails, soaking in the city skyline, and listening to live music, we savored every last moment before heading home the next morning. It was the perfect farewell to an unforgettable adventure!
