Biking up and down the jungle road visiting shops and little bars along the way was so fun!

Day 1

We flew into Cancun, rented a car and drove about 2 hours to Tulum. Our hotel was about 3/4 down the way of the "jungle road" that goes through Tulum. We pulled into our beautiful hotel, Radhoo. This hotel is part of the Namron Group which owns a few boutique hotels in Tulum. Radhoo is on the jungle side and has a gorgeous pool on property. Across the street is Encantado which is on the beach side and has a beach club. You can walk back and forth from both hotels.

After we walked around for a bit and explored the town, we went to a dinner at Hartwood which was delicious!

Day 2

We woke up in our Garden View (room 2) hidden away in the jungle. Then we went to yoga with Eli at Ahau which had a beautiful yoga terrace overlooking the beach. After that we enjoyed our free 3-course breakfast at Radhoo. We went for a long beach walk to Delek and had a drink at their oceanside bar. That night we went to Arca for dinner and then to Kanan for drinks at their rooftop bar. Best view!

Day 3

We went to another yoga class at Alaya, then went back for our amazing breakfast at our hotel with cuisine from the Yucatan area. That day we decided to explore the Cenotes - Los Ojos. The cenote was cool, but probably best to do with a guide. We decided to take a second yoga class at Nest (a sister hotel to Radhoo). After that we stopped at Mateo's for a drink. Then, that evening we went to Casa Bananas (Argentinian food).

Day 4

It was our last day so one more time for yoga! We went to a beautiful studio on the beach at Sanara. After breakfast, we went to the beach and relaxed. Then, we walked down to Ahau and had smoothie bowls at Raw Love. We also got an outdoor massage at Be Tulum. Then we jumped on some bikes (available at our hotel) and explored the jungle road shops. We ate dinner at a little Taco Stand and had drinks at TulumMunchies (outdoor bar).

Anything you would add or do differently?

  • We didn't really need a car. It was parked (valet by the hotel) most of the time and there's no parking on the jungle road. We walked or biked everywhere we went.

  • We loved the jungle side, but I'd like to experience one of the beach huts next time at Encantada or Nest.
