The Maldives is famous for its breathtaking white-sand beaches and mesmerizing underwater world. But did you know there are two very different ways to experience this tropical paradise?
You can either stay on a local island for an affordable, culture-rich experience or indulge in the luxury of a private island resort.
We wanted to experience both! Economically, the local island stay is much cheaper, offering charming boutique hotels, cozy cafés, and authentic restaurants—but no alcohol. While modest dress codes apply, designated bikini beaches let visitors swim and sunbathe freely.
But of course, you can’t leave the Maldives without trying the iconic overwater villa experience! We made it extra special by choosing one with a slide for our daughter, and it was absolutely worth it. Staying at a private island resort meant no restrictions—we could wear whatever we liked and enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset over the endless ocean.
No matter the choice, the Maldives was one of an unforgettable escapes we ever did. 🌴✨

We had been to Exuma before for a shorter 4 night trip, and we knew we HAD to get back and stay longer. We love to visit Exuma for the beautiful blue waters and all the interactions with the wildlife, including sharks, iguanas, pigs, cats, stingrays and more!
We chose to travel to the Dominican Republic because it offered the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure in a destination neither my husband nor I had visited before. The country’s reputation for stunning beaches, warm hospitality, and incredible all-inclusive resorts made it an easy choice for our honeymoon. We wanted a location where we could truly unwind, enjoy luxurious amenities, and experience a new culture together—and the Dominican Republic exceeded all our expectations.
Vail is our favorite mountain if the lines aren't too long! We went during an "off" weekend in February, and enjoyed great snow and family time.
My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary!
A dream getaway with my husband for a first-time trip to the city of lights!

I traveled to Greece for a yoga retreat in Crete. I started in Athens, then on to Santorini before heading to Crete for the retreat.
Orlando has always held a special place in my heart. As a kid, I visited Orlando numerous times. We would rent a spacious villa just off International Drive and spend our days exploring the theme parks and indulging in delicious food. Even as I got older and stopped going on holiday with my family, I still found myself drawn to Orlando. There's just something about the city that feels like home.
I wanted to show my kids the Florida Keys and the Everglades
