I wanted to show my kids the Florida Keys and the Everglades

  • Day 1: We loved our VRBO condo at Ocean Pointe in Tavernier, Florida Keys.
  • Day 2: Garl's Everglades Adventures provided an unforgettable wildlife experience that exceeded our expectations.
  • Day 3: Snorkelling in Tavernier was amazing, saw nurse sharks, lobsters, tons of fish!
  • Day 4: Savoring a tranquil beach getaway to rejuvenate mind, body, and soul.
  • Day 5: Feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the memories created during my vacation.

Day 1

We arrived at our awesome VRBO condo at Ocean Pointe in Tavernier, Florida Keys. Wonderful gated community with pool, tennis, bar, restaurant , private beach with pier and water sports.

Day 2

We drove 45 minutes to the Everglades to meet our amazing guide, Garl, of Garls Everglades Adventures. He took us to some of the most incredible spots in the Everglades to see alligators, snakes, manatees and birds out in their wild homes. It was truly unlike any experience I’ve ever done. We trekked 2 hours through the swamps on foot. Then we kayaked for 2 more hours.

Day 3

We drove into Tavernier town for an afternoon snorkelling trip. We saw nurse sharks, lobsters, tons of fish and an eel!
